Welcome to the Kennedy Austin Foundation

Supporting Youth and Families Through Life's Challenges

ABOUT KENNEDY AUSTIN FOUNDATION

The Kennedy Austin Foundation was created to help support families and friends who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Our foundation was inspired by my son, who was a multi-athlete at Bonita High School in La Verne, California. He was a talented athlete who received numerous awards, scholarships, and recognition for his achievements. His passing caused immense devastation and heartbreak to those around him, including our family. We want to help others who are experiencing the same pain and support them in their journey of healing.

Our organization was founded on the principle of helping those in need, particularly children and families who have experienced unbearable loss. At the Kennedy Austin Foundation, we believe that support and encouragement can go a long way in healing wounds and overcoming life's challenges. We offer a range of programs and services, from counseling and mentoring to educational and social initiatives, designed to meet the unique needs of each individual and family member in our care.

Our housing program is designed to provide a safe and secure environment for women and their children to live while learning to garden. We believe that all people deserve access to safe, affordable housing, and we work hard to ensure that our program meets the needs of those who need it most. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing the necessary resources and support to help residents achieve their goals and take the next steps in their lives easier.

Depressed? Anxious? Lonely? Abused?
Grief-stricken? Angry? Fearful? Emotional? Emotionless?

Kennedy Austin Foundation is a friendly, non-judgemental and safe place for you to pour out your heart and thoughts while learning to face feelings in a supported, heard and healthy way.  We are a caring community, not a clinic or institution.

As we all move beyond the restrictions and fears of the Covid pandemic, it is time to rebuild community connections that strengthen us and that help us share and celebrate life together. To do this, Kennedy Austin Foundation is restarting a range of support groups and classes so you can get back to thriving, not just surviving, in your life.
